For those who aren’t familiar with you and your company, please tell us a little more about your company.

YEAH! Local has over 13 years of combined Atlanta online marketing experience ranging from SEO, Video, Social Media, Content Marketing, PPC, Local SEO, and Reputation Marketing.

What would you consider the most important development in digital marketing in 2015? What are your top 3 digital marketing trends that you think will dominate in 2016?

​All the Google algorithms playing out and changing the landscape.  It is just a different ball game to rank a website nowadays.  For 2016 I think better authority links with great content will dominate.

Most business owners want to follow their competitors’ digital marketing strategies. Do you think this is a good or bad practice, and why?

It can be good and bad.  If your competitors are doing SEO correctly than by all means follow them, But make sure their optimization and links are good before you just follow their tactics.​

Today, a higher Google rank doesn’t mean you’ll get more organic clicks. What are your thoughts on this?

I still think a higher rank WITH the right title, meta description, and rich snippets will get you more clicks.  If all 3 of those are poor than yes a higher rank will not equal more clicks.​

What’s the single most effective way marketers can leverage big data in their marketing strategies?

​Use it sparingly.  Focus on the smaller aspects of your campaigns to not get overwhelmed.

Do you think the other search engines like Duck Duck Go / some other will stop Google’s Monopoly?

Not anytime soon.  I think they will take a small bite out of the search market, but that is it.​
